On-line Data Bases Available to NES Students at Home! Students in Harford County have access at home to several data bases that we use at school. The following is a list of those data bases, a bit of information about each one, as well as the access information you will need to sign on to them. A cautionary note, not all data bases are used at all grade levels and your student may or may not have been introduced to them. Your guidance while your child is on the internet is recommended. Grolier On-Line This database includes 3 general encyclopedias, Grolier Multimedia and The Americana which are for older students (middle and high), and The New Book of Knowledge which is suitable for elementary students. Also included in this database is the special encyclopedia America The Beautiful which is a great resource for information about the states. Username and password can be
